Story
The queen of all the birds, the Swan exudes confidence, grace, and poise. Dotted with tiny vintage mother of pearl buttons, with a length that hits sweetly just below the knee, the Swan is the ultimate dress for afternoon tea, warm-weather soirées of any sort, or for when you just want to feel like a lady. Fluttery cape sleeves add an extra dose of femininity, and roomy pockets upgrade the dress from just a pretty dress to one you actually want to wear. An eternal symbol of beauty, a muse to Venus herself, the Swan always is and has just enough.

Materials
This dress is made of khadi (hand-twisted) cotton, crafted in India by skilled artisans on a handloom. It is by far the most airy and delicate fabric I've ever worked with, and its name, Cirrus Gauze, evokes its supersoft, cloud-like handfeel. The fabric has a subtle stripe pattern woven into it that isn't noticeable from far away but it quite prominent up close. By itself, the fabric is entirely sheer, but for this design I both faced and lined the fabric with voile to create an opaque (but no less cloudy-soft) dress.
The dress is faced and lined with GOTS-certified organic cotton voile milled in India. Lightweight and airy, this voile is one of the softest fabrics we've used to date and is the perfect complement to our Cirrus Gauze fabric.
In addition to the fabric, this dress uses organic cotton thread, twelve vintage mother of pearl buttons, and organic cotton garment labels.
Fit
Take a look at our Size Guide to find your size.
The Swan is fitted in both the bust and waist, so use those two measurements when determining your size. This style runs true to size, but if you fall in between sizes, I recommend sizing up to avoid any gapping near the buttons.
Sarah is wearing a size 4 and is 5'9" with a 33" bust, 24" waist, and 35" hip.
