Peahen Jacket in Iris Plaid
SOLD OUT
We're sorry, but this product is sold out.
Story
Discerning and shrewd even when dazzled by plumage, the Peahen forever remains the sophisticate. A wide, collarless neckline and a cropped, scalloped hem set off a piece that can be worn as either a heavy top or a light jacket. With three-quarter sleeves and a straight silhouette, it's the perfect piece for adding a touch of sophistication to a casual outfit, or a leisurely element to a more formal look. Whatever the situation, the Peahen stands out (but unlike her male counterpart, not flashily so).

Materials
This jacket is made of a blend of cotton and silk, crafted in India by skilled artisans on a handloom. The fabric is substantial but not thick, textured but not scratchy, light-catching but not shimmery, and is quite breathable for warm-weather wear. The base is a warm ivory accented by lime green and a magenta — a palette reminiscent of greenery surrounding redbud blossoms in the early spring.
In addition to the fabric, this jacket uses organic cotton thread, five vintage mother-of-pearl buttons, organic cotton trim, and organic cotton garment labels.
Fit
Take a look at our Size Guide to find your size.
The Peahen is fitted almost entirely in the bust, so use your bust measurement to determine your size. The jacket runs true to size, but if you fall between sizes, I recommend sizing up.
Alyssa is wearing a size 4 and is 5'8" with a 35" bust, 27" waist, and 37" hip.
