Margaret Dress in Antique Moss
SOLD OUT
We're sorry, but this product is sold out.
Story
– Gerard Manley Hopkins, 'Spring and Fall'
Like the subject of the poem that inspired the collection, Margaret is innocent yet wise; she is a force much greater than she appears. A pinafore-style dress with a long, full skirt and button-fastened shoulder straps, the Margaret exudes both playfulness and elegance and can be styled in ways to accentuate either characteristic.

Materials
This dress is made of a blend of hemp and wool that is woven in Japan. The fabric is relatively heavyweight, with a dense weave that almost feels like felt. The weave has an organic imperfection which, combined with the faded green color, makes it seem like an antique. Due to the wool, the fabric is a tad scratchy, so make sure to wear something underneath if you have sensitive skin. The fabric is dyed a dark mossy green that, in different lighting, spans the spectrum of light greyish-green to deep forest-y charcoal.
In addition to the fabric, this dress uses cotton thread, two vintage mother of pearl buttons, one vintage metal hook and eye, organic cotton interfacing, silk pocket lining, and cotton garment labels.
Fit
Take a look at our Size Guide to find your size.
The Margaret is fitted in the waist, free in the hips, and only semi-fitted in the bust, so I recommend choosing the size that most closely corresponds to your waist measurement.
Sarah is wearing a size 4 and is 5'9" with a 33" bust, 24" waist, and 35" hip.
