Lark Skirt in Cirrus Gauze
SOLD OUT
We're sorry, but this product is sold out.
Story
The Lark sings a cheerful melody, soaring and fluttering all the while. A twirly bias-cut skirt made even more twirly with subtle gathers, the Lark is the perfect skirt for springtime picnics and summertime strolls (as well as any occasion where twirling is expected, of course). Sitting at the natural waist and cinched with a removable tie, this skirt is the perfect companion to button-up tops or any top meant to be tucked in.

Materials
This skirt is made of khadi (hand-twisted) cotton, crafted in India by skilled artisans on a handloom. It is by far the most airy and delicate fabric I've ever worked with, and its name, Cirrus Gauze, evokes its supersoft, cloud-like handfeel. The fabric has a subtle stripe pattern woven into it that isn't noticeable from far away but it quite prominent up close. By itself, the fabric is entirely sheer, but for this design I both faced and lined the fabric with voile to create an opaque (but no less cloudy-soft) skirt.
The skirt is faced and lined with GOTS-certified organic cotton voile milled in India. Lightweight and airy, this voile is one of the softest fabrics we've used to date and is the perfect complement to our Cirrus Gauze fabric.
In addition to the fabric, this skirt uses organic cotton thread, a YKK invisible zipper, one vintage metal hook and eye, and organic cotton garment labels.
Fit
Take a look at our Size Guide to find your size.
The Lark is fitted only in the waist, so use that measurement when determining your size. The style runs true to size; if you're in between sizes, size down for a skirt that hits higher on the waist and up for a lower-slung one.
Alyssa is wearing a size 4 and is 5'8" with a 35" bust, 27" waist, and 37" hip.
