Story
Inspiration for new designs comes to me in many forms, but sometimes it's as simple as me designing a piece I want to wear. I recently realized my closet was lacking a simple maxi dress that worked just as well dressed up as it did dressed down, so I set out to make one. Kimono sleeves and a deep V in the front lend the dress a bohemian vibe, while a wide band set a bit higher than waist-level cinches the waist in a flattering way. Constructed out of a Japanese linen dyed the perfect shade of dusty slate blue, the Catherine dress is already a piece I can't stop wearing.

Fabric
This dress is made of linen fabric woven in Japan. Soft and lightweight, it is the perfect shade of dusty slate blue, with a texture that only gets more lovely the more it's washed and worn.
The dress is lined with GOTS-certified organic cotton voile milled in India. Lightweight and airy, the lining creates a soft, breathable layer against your skin.
